Miseno, well known for its beach, sea and vibrant nightlife, is much more that that. Panoramic girdle the hillside offering great spots for landscape photography. Once home to the Classis Misenensis (powerful Roman fleet), it is imbibed with history. Roman remains of the theatre, villa and tanks are archeological wonders. Miseno means adventure, with its marine caves that can be reached by means of a canoe or kayak, and is also the right place to taste seafood. It’s naming comes from a myth itself.
